Julia Roberts and Husband Danny Moder Put On United Front Despite ‘Drifting Apart’
On April 1, Julia Roberts and Danny Moder looked coupled up at pal George Clooney’s Broadway play, Good Night, and Good Luck — but a source says that the soon-to-be empty nesters, wed since 2002, have drifted apart.
With three upcoming projects, the Oscar winner, 57, “is consumed with her career,” notes the source.
At the same time, cinematographer Danny, 56, is less busy. “Julia occupies her time with work, and Danny surfs and hangs out with friends,” adds the source.
“They don’t spend enough time together.” It doesn’t help that twins Hazel and Phinnaeus, 20, and son Henry, 17, are more independent.
“They like to do their own thing,” confirms the source. Still, don’t expect a divorce announcement anytime soon for the low-key pair, reveals the source.
“It’s easier to put on a show of unity and avoid all that.”
