Greta Gerwig Has a Reality TV Obsession — and It’s Love Is Blind

Greta Gerwig may be the visionary force behind Barbie, but when she’s not directing billion-dollar blockbusters, she’s binge-watching Netflix reality TV like the rest of us.

The Oscar-nominated filmmaker recently revealed her surprising obsession with Love Is Blind — the hit dating show where contestants fall in love and get engaged before ever seeing each other.

“I really love Love Is Blind. I love it so much,” the 41-year-old says.

The director, who’s known for emotionally rich films like Lady Bird and Little Women, says the show’s high-stakes romance and raw vulnerability have her hooked.

“I love people falling in love on television and in their hearts. It just makes me so happy,” she reveals.

Since its debut in February 2020, Love Is Blind features singles who often get engaged without ever seeing each other.

And Gerwig isn’t the only celebrity fan of the series hosted by Nick and Vanessa Lachey.

Other notable fans include Billie Eilish<, Kim Kardashian and Daniel Radcliffe, who have publicly expressed their enjoyment of the show.
