Janice Jam: Broadway for Breast Cancer

Broadway luminaries, including Oscar winner Ariana DeBose and Tony nominee Jeremy Jordan, will gather on May 5, 2025, for the third annual Janice Jam: Broadway for Breast Cancer at Sony Hall in New York City.

The event, founded by Broadway performer Matt DeAngelis in memory of his mother Janice, aims to raise funds for the Breast Cancer Research Foundation (BCRF) to support metastatic breast cancer research.

“Here we are. Year three, and this incredible event continues to grow and thrive thanks to the countless supporters who come out to celebrate the community and my mothers legacy,” said DeAngelis.

“This year, over 200,000 people in the U.S. are living with metastatic breast cancer — a staggering increase from 140,000 in 2014. This event is our way of standing in honor of all those impacted, past and present,” he said. “Its a celebration of a woman who was larger than life and SO much more than just an honorary part of the Broadway community. I am so proud of how we continue to build this gathering as a space for both education and joy. With continued awareness and nonprofit support, were doing our part to help eradicate this disease — and prevent heartbreaking losses like mine.”

The evening will feature performances by Broadway stars including Krysta Rodriguez, Tony winner John Gallagher Jr., Kara Lindsay, Maia Reficco, Christine Dwyer, Rebecca Naomi Jones, and more.

Rodriguez, herself a survivor of breast cancer, will be honored with the with the first-ever Janice Award to celebrate her fight against the disease and her contributions to breast cancer awareness and research.

Tickets for the event range from $50 to $100, with options for general admission and VIP tables. A limited number of standing-room-only tickets will be available starting April 14.
